Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School is happy that you've dropped by to visit
our web page! We are a family of Lutheran believers reaching out and serving South
County, St. Louis, North Jefferson County, Missouri and the Metro East in Illinois.
We work together to pursue our Mission: "To Know Christ
To Make Him Known." As a young congregation,
chartered in 1983, we serve a very special mission through our passion for those
who wish to grow in faith and service. To those who do not yet know Christ Jesus
as their Savior as well as those who are already on a spiritual journey with Him.
We strive to demonstrate our Values in
each and every aspect of our ministry.
As a growing congregation,
we offer many spiritual growth and fellowship opportunities. Weekly
Worship Opportunities, Bible Studies,
Classes & Support Groups, Just
Social Events, Dinners, Bar-B-Q's and a dynamic Sunday Children's Program
called "Kingdom Quest" which is
a fresh interactive approach to sharing the Word of God through drama, teaching
and group activities. We are a warm and welcoming church for the whole family
and these are but a few of the things that unite us as a family of faith.
As
a committed congregation - we strive to bless Junior
and Senior High School Students. These young members stay very active in our
youth group - which is geared to bring them into meaningful lifelong relationships
with each other and our Lord through Bible Studies, events, trips and many ministry
opportunities.
As an educating congregation - our Christian
Lutheran Elementary School has received National recognition as an "Outstanding
School" and operates for children in preschool through grade Eight. Our principal,
Laura Montgomery, and the entire staff are committed to partner with our homes
to ensure the highest quality Christian Education and our National Lutheran School
Accreditation ensures our commitment to "Build
and Maintain Excellence" in all we do.
