Traditional Worship

"If we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently." (Romans 8:25)

What should I expect in Traditional Worship?

Traditional Worship at Abiding Savior is focused on the worship and praise of God. Sermons messages are Bible-centered and Cross focused. They will challenge and encourage you as you deal with practical application of God's word in your daily living. These services will often include real life stories of how God is working in and through the lives of His people today. The music for traditional worship blends classic hymns along with new songs and hymns of the faith.

5:00 pm and 8:00 am Traditional Worship is led by one of our pastors or seminarians with organ and/or piano - including music from the Lutheran liturgy as well as great hymns of the faith. Other string and wind instruments are sometimes used to complement the music at this service. This service includes majestic arrangements of the great hymns of the faith along with new songs and ballads that relate to the message of the day.

People and children of all ages attend the traditional worship services. Dress for this service is mostly business casual but ranges from casual to suits and dresses.
